The Connecticut Fire Museum, also known as the Trolley Museum Fire Department, is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of antique fire apparatus and associated equipment. A non-profit and historical association, Connecticut Antique Fire Apparatus Association, Inc., the parent organization of the Connecticut Fire Museum, was organized in 1968, incorporated in 1971, and opened its current facilities to the public in 1975.

NEW BOOK RELEASE
The CT Fire Museum has just released this book about the Springfield (MA) Fire Department. Bert and Nancy Johanson compiled the history from the archives of the Connecticut Fire Museum, the Connecticut Valley Historical Society and from descendents of Noah Pooler, who served as a captain on the Springfield Fire Department. They were also assisted by Fred Rodriguez, a 29 year veteren of the department. Books will be available from the CTM gift shop.
