To all the Darkside family

Calendar and cast information

1.) The casting call on September 15 and 16th is primarily for walk-ins who see our advertising in the newspapers etc. for cast members.  Anyone already on this list does not need to come on either of those evenings unless you want to introduce yourselves.

2.) We have set Rails organizationl meetings for the Saturday's at 5:00 P.M.  These meetings are for those who want to help set up the event, decorate, or help with advertising etc.

3.) We have set two nights for cast rehearsal’s (9/28 and 10/5 at 6:00 P.M.) For anyone who wants to participate in the event scaring people, it would be good to try to attend at least one of the rehearsals.  In order for the event to run safely, we need some time to help coordinate and orient everyone to the event.  If for some reason, you aren't available to attend either rehearsal, please let us know, and we can make other arrangements.  At this time, the expectation is that Chris Chestnut will be in charge of the East End and I (Galen Semprebon) will be in charge of the West End activities with the Dispatcher in charge of the trolley car operations.

4.) We have scheduled operators meetings for October 4th and 5th at 5:00 P.M. The intent is to try to meet with as many operators who are interested in running during the event as available to run through the peculiarities of the event.  Operators only need to attend one of the two evenings if possible.  We will be distributing information on the operation, and those who cannot attend can be filled in on an individual basis.

5.) We have scheduled a dress rehearsal/press night on October 8th.  The cast can invite their family to see the event and a full dress rehearsal will be held.  Everyone who will be taking part in the Rails to the Darkside event is encouraged to attend, though once again, if you are unable to attend, let us know.
